Bell-ringing

As part of the Armistice centenary events, people are being encouraged to ring bells as they did a 100 years ago when news of the Armistice spread across the land. Bells of all kinds can take part, from places of worship to town halls, ships’ sirens and more.

Old Bolingbroke Ringers remember

As part of the national Ringing Remembers initiative, a totallynew ringing band has been formed at St Peter & St Paul Church, Old Bolingbroke, Lincolnshire. Our first ring for a service is to be at our Harvest Festival, and on 11/11 we shall ring in the morning half muffled and at 12.30 with open bells.
